As we were attending the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix we of course took the opportunity to watch the Formula 3000 International Championship race, which was held on the same track on Saturday.

We were watching the race from the general admission area inside the track from which you can get quite nice view of the end of the main straight and the sequence of the first corners. And if you move just a little you can get to see what's happening on the other side of the track which include the slowest corner on the track. So very nice place for the spectators as you can see different parts of the track barely having to move at all.

We didn't took many photos of the race, so that's why the gallery is quite small.
